What Guests Are Saying
Trimmer Campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with lovely views of the lake and good AT&T service, making it a nice spot for relaxation, boating, and fishing. Many reviews highlighted the shaded campsites and overall cleanliness, though there are concerns about bathroom maintenance and the campground's isolation. While some visitors faced issues with restroom availability and cleanliness, others enjoyed their stays and appreciated the quiet atmosphere.

Great area, all you need for camping. The sites closer to the water are better for parking. Make sure to check smoke conditions though.

Nine RV sites is what I would say if you’re a tent camper looking for a spot. You could pitch a tent here, but each of the nine sites barely has a tent pad and what little pad there is, is right above bedrock so don’t bother with tent stakes. Restroom was clean enough with a single stream “shower”. If you’re in a pinch it’s an ok site for the money, but with all the boondocking sites around, I’d pass this by if it came to it again.

It was a very decent place when we went we didn't really have anybody there so it was very quiet no loud camping neighbors so that was good, the only bad thing about the whole deal was on our second night we had a guy in his motorhome that showed up and having a running the generator for the last 2 days straight that we were there, and it was 105 at least every day but besides that it was amazing!!!

Just about the worst campground I've ever stayed at! Save ur money!
Lake was 22% full (per ranger) and most of shore is surrounded by Icky mud/cow poop. You can walk down the concrete boat ramp and water was actually ok.
No surprise campground smells like poop and was about a 100゚. Was only down to 86°at 1:45am! Campsites are practically on top of each other. Trash overflowing and bathroom dirty/trash.
Ranger was super nice and helpful.

Great remote site. Very HOT with little shade for an August camp. Amazing for star gazing! Closest store is about 20min away. Decent restrooms with showers and running water near campsites. Lake is a long walk from campsites and there isn't any shade by lake. Bring shade, suncreen easy-up etc. Drivable down to lake with boat dock from campsites about 1/2 mile. Stayed 8/21

!!!!!! BE CAREFUL !!!!!! Please take your time to look around your campsite when you arrive. Unfortunately we did not, and my brother in law stepped on a broken tent stake that someone left behind. The stake was sticking out of the ground about 3-4 inches. so you can imagine we had to cut our trip short to take him to urgent care. I know the park rangers cannot avoid and catch everything when they sweep the campgrounds so I am not blaming them or the campsite. Inspecting our campsites in the future will now be #1 on our list when we arrive.3
Other than the unfortunate injury, the campsite is great to relax. There wasn't a lot of noise from other campsites and it is close to the lake so that is a bonus! We reserved campsite #8 & #9 and they both gave good shade until 8am and it got fresh around 8pm. Bathrooms and showers are actually pretty close than expected.

Restrooms could have been swept better but then it has been a year since anyone’s been here. Besides that it was very nice campground. Quite and everyone was Pleasant.

What a hidden Gem. Site 2 was the absolute best! The view cannot be beat and there are free hot showers.
