Hidden View campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a great choice for relaxation and family activities. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites, scenic lake views, and well-maintained restrooms. However, noise levels can be an issue on weekends, and some rules regarding campsite usage are not always enforced. Our stay was at site #45. Which is directly adjacent to #46. Basically both splitting a long driveway.
Of the number of COE campgrounds we’ve stayed at, Hidden View has to be at the bottom. The campground and its sites require a great deal of attention and upgrading. Site #45 smelled like an old stale urinal. Needing a good power washing and sanitizing.
Seems funny the differences between this CG and Codorniz CG, which is close by and COE managed.
Regardless, our stay was extremely quite. With only a few other campers in the area. Staff were very friendly and professional.

We came only for the night and slept over, was calm, getting there at night is difficult by car.

Camped when there was a cold front in Sept. Site #31 driveway has a slight lean toward #33. You may or may not need leveling blocks. It was fine for my Class B. Site #31 has some morning shade until 8AM in the fall. Otherwise, the site will get hot in the summer.

Water was definitely low during the time we went camping(end of August). We knew it was possible for it to be low. Still a great experience. Just went with my mom and 2.5 year old son. He had an absolute blast. Neighbors were also friendly and respectful during nighttime hours.

Beautiful location and not overcrowded at all even though it was the middle of summer. Ranger was very helpful and friendly. Note that the dumping station is close to the entrance of the park.
Unfortunately, the women’s toilets were not clean.

This park is in the country and has nice tent and RV sites. We stayed in site 32 with our 43 foot 5th wheel. This site is not level so need to bring blocks for front of your trailer. Good view of the lake. Steps down lead to a very nice covered picnic table and big site for grill, dogs, and camping chairs. No ice sold here. Our site was a pull through electric only. We stayed here for 2 weeks and had plenty of time to visit Yosemite Park, Sunkist Fruit businesses and museums in the area.

Hidden view is really the perfect name for this place. I would never have found it, had it not been for Google Maps. It's such a nice spot by the lake. Loads of space for each campground. We were greated by a really nice and helpfull park ranger allthough we arrived late at night. She helped us out with the water supply for our RV and got us set up for the night.

Got there and the people in the camp spot next to me had all their tents up in my spot. There was nowhere for us to set up our tent so we had to sleep in the back seat of our car. Ended up leaving at 2 am because they had their music up so loud.

This site was perfect! Close to the bathroom and shady. Would stay here again. Not in July though, weather was not so great. Ranger was also super friendly and helpful :)
