The campsites were large and far apart. The shade of the trees is perfect for the hot weather. You easily fit 3 large tents on each site. And the campground is quiet! The bathrooms were super clean. And the marina was about 5 mins away. The lake level was low but the marina staff was flexible and helpful. It was great campground over all!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Tannery Gulch is. We had a family group with 4 campsites. Two of us tent camped, you can easily fit 3 tents per site. The other two had a small RV and an 28ft trailer. We had a view of the lake. We also brought our boat which was the main reason for the trip. The water was amazing for wakesurfing. We were able to anchor the boat off shore. Be aware that the launches and few because of the low water levels but we had a launch 10 min away. I wouldn’t want to relaunch everyday. The weather was perfect. Unfortunately the fires in the area sent smoke our way but it wasn’t overwhelming. This is gonna be a regular trip for us each year from now on.
Clean restrooms (no showers)
Water close by for use
Shade trees
Paved small roads
Hiking boating fishing
Everything you need nothing more!

Quiet time was supposed to be 10 PM but children were playing loudly outside until 11:30 and young adults were partying very loudly until 1:30 AM.

The Camp Host - Hauva is hardworking and takes care of her campers. In all the years we have camped at Tannery we feel that Hauva is the best!
