Bicentennial Campground is a charming and picturesque location, offering breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained campsites and the abundance of nearby hiking trails, including scenic spots like Rodeo Beach and a lighthouse. While basic bathroom facilities and the challenging access to the campground are noted, the overall experience is enhanced by the natural beauty and tranquility of the area.

My first time camping here. The instructions for reaching the site were good. The scenery is amazing. The campsite was clean. Prepare by bringing more than enough water since none is provided on site.

The camp was clean and easy to access- but there should be mention of the intense fog horns that were super loud ALL night long.

Great location with a tent pad. Site 3 has the best 'view' of the bridge although it is a little hidden. The hill down to the campsites is pretty steep. The 3-person-per-site rule seems odd and we saw a few campsites breaking that. Lots of cool wildlife including your standard deer, coyotes, and owls. The walk to Pt Bonita Lighthouse is great and the cell phone audio tour was informative.

Cute, small campground with great views. Plan for fog. Highly recommend taking a visit to the nearby Marine Mammal Center while you are here!

A steep decent into the small campground. Foggy during the day, but wonderful and a gorgeous view as the sunsets. We can see the GGB from our campsite. We loved our stay :)
Toilet very full w/out toilet paper. Bring your own, + Water.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds we’ve ever been to. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge can be seen from site #3 only. There are also hiking trails nearby that lead you to a different view spot.

Weather was the biggest challenge. Even though the campsites face southeast, all spots were super windy. The repeated, strong gusts really challenged the sturdiness of your tent.
Site 3 does have nice trail access and is a few feet from its own private view of the Golden Gate. The walk from the parking spots isn't too bad, either.
However, there was noticeable amounts of broken glass at the road entrance and by my tent pad. Plus, the abandoned bivvy set up in the adjacent camping spot creeped me out as a solo camper.
I ultimately tapped out and packed up to head home after dinner. I think it was the best call since less than a half mile on the drive out some visitor in a pickup was trying to lure/feed a coyote on the side of the road!
I'd probably be back to picnic, but skip the camping.

Great location to explore the area. Bring ear plugs for the fog horns :)
