What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

The campground was very clean, especially the bathrooms. The sites were spread apart in the C area, which was perfect. Things were quiet. The rangers at the check in were very helpful. Honeymoon Pools was an exceptional place to dip our feet in. The store had ample supplies. Lovely campground and I plan to return again this summer.

It is a wonderful place to visit! You must grab a coffee at the Blue Sky Cafe and check out Shaver Lake. It can be quite cold at night so pack accordingly.

Just as wonderful as I remember from my childhood. Less trees in the campground, so not quite as shaded, but they apparently have had to cut a bunch down because of bark beetles. But don't let that deter you, it's still a magical space. The bathrooms are always clean, and I found the staff to be delightful. I can't wait to go back again!!

Clean restrooms - we stayed in Loop J and loved the area. In between the Slicks & Honeymoon pools. The campground was gorgeous, fun area, and one of a kind! Would definitely come back. We heard reports of high yellow jackets and got a trap, but we did not have many in our campsite. Maybe it is a seasonal thing.

Love this place. Camp host in loop B Awesome. Beware though no potable water. I don't remember that on my last stay. So bring plenty of fresh water. No dump station either. But there is one in Shaver. $30.

I take a lot of time when choosing campsites making sure it will fit our needs. The site I chose said shade and partial shade (depending which place I looked). Almost every single one of the trees were cut down recently. From 9 am until 5 pm our site was in full sun with nowhere to escape the heat. Maybe if we had an RV it would have been ok but as tent campers it was too much.

Access to the creek from our site was a little tough, wish our site was closer to it, but still fun to hang out there! Nearby creek trail was not well maintained. Restrooms were clean, but no soap/sanitizer provided so bring your own.
