What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

Have been camping at Dinkey since 1977. I'm surprised that the steps going down to Honeymoon Pool still have not been repaired. I suppose it will take someone falling and breaking a leg before this is taken care of. With what is charged per night for camping with no hookups, it seems there would be plenty of money to fix the steps.

Another great trip to Dinkey Creek, one of our favorite places to camp. The hosts were super nice and the bathrooms were clean. The water flow in the creek was raging and nothing like we've experienced in past visits. It will probably be weeks if not months before it's safe to swim in. There is a small spot where Rock Creek hits Dinkey Creek that had calm water where kids were playing.

#64 did not disappoint. We could hear the creek running and had our own fresh spring flowing downhill. To be fair the campsite main area is mostly downhill. There's a flat and shaded spot for tent a little ways down hill with wild orchids growing everywhere. Dinkey Creek is just a 5 minute walk downhill. We tried fishing and gold panning. We saw deer. People walked through the campsite on their way to Creek. This tends to be annoying because there are paths on either side of campsite. The host did not mind that I parked on the dirt, as there is not a paved driveway, like other sites.
Our family of 3, including the doggo, is happy to have spent another Father's day here this year. I enjoyed meeting the neighboring site, family of 2. Wished I would of gotten the contact info!

Great campground. Only complaint is the non flushable toilet and lack of restrooms. Other than that 5/5

Always had a great experience camping at Dinkey Creek. All campers knows their site voices, sites are spaced out properly to accommodate two to three tents, bathrooms were cleaned daily.
We stayed at site 6 that has the perfect amount of space to fit our travel trailer and truck. Trees have been cut down as you’ll get some shade.
