What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

All the trees have been cut down in this campsite. So sad

Camp was dirty.
People littering everywhere.
Dirty diapers and trash all over the place. To crowded. And loud.
I think it should be closed off for just campers only and not day use at all.
I have been coming here for 36 years and it has gotten worse and worse.
I feel bad for the camp hosts.
Ron and Pat were great hosts!

this is a big campground, over 100 campsites. Many of them have had the trees cut down but others are big and beautiful. The pools are great for swimming but there are lots of other campers, like Huntington Beach in the summertime!
There's lots to do near there, fishing, hiking, giant redwoods, horseback riding.

Dinkey Creek campground was excellent, the stuff who are working on the campsite and the stuff who clean the restrooms were polite and very kinds. The campsite was pretty clean thank to the those people hard work. The environment was wonderful. My family had a great time in this campground.

This campground is a great choice. The staff was kind, helpful, and keeps the site very clean. There is good access to restrooms and non-potable water. Overall each campsite has plenty of space from the other sites and an abundance of firewood to gather. There is also easy access to a variety of swimming locations. Our group had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.

This is a nice, large campsite. I was impressed with the clean bathrooms! It gets cold at night, even during the summer, so bring a base layer to sleep in. A sun shade would have been nice too—it's strong during the day.
Two complaints: one, the soil is VERY dusty and got everywhere, and two, the sites are decently far apart, but there's not a lot of privacy.
Overall, would recommend.
