The cabin was clean and nicely positioned with a partial view of the lake nearby. My only negative comment would be regarding the heater. There are no instructions inside the cabin as to how to properly and safely turn it on. You can’t turn it on with the thermostat and I’m assuming the outside propane needs to be turned on. There should be instructions.

Amazing view of the lake, calm atmosphere, and nearby hiking trails (driving distance). There is no wifi at the cabin but there is wifi at the museum about 1/2 mile away. This campsite was not shady at all - that was unenjoyable when cooking breakfast and dinner but we ate on the porch where it was shaded.

Cabin was very clean! But we found the bed too small for us. Just personal preference.

Really good cabins close to the lake. We were able to easily access the cabin per the instructions. The fire pit outside was great. The camper store and the restrooms are quite nearby.

We were in one of the two glamping tents. Nobody knows anything about them. Generally inferior to cabins. Overall campground and lake wonderful. No reason in the world glamping tents should cost more than cabins.

Our family had a great Fourth of July holiday at a cabin next to Manzanita Lake. The cabin was clean and spacious. The campsite was quiet at night, not crowded at all, and well-equipped. We had fun kayaking on the lake with a beautiful view of Lassen Peak.
