What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

We had a great time. The weather was fantastic. The campground is professionally run by Adam, Janet and their staff. They are the best campground hosts I have come across in 50 years of camping in the Sierras. One of the hosts, Michael, helped me the first day by cutting the lock off of my hitch when I forgot the key to it. We are a bit sorry they moved the boundary for the dog beach. It is now quite a bit further south than it was last year. It is such a popular spot that I think it needs more room. We hope this staff comes back next season. We can’t wait to camp here again.

We had a great experience this year for the 4th of July week camping at Nevada Beach. I'm can only imagine that it is the toughest and most challenging week to be the Camp Host. We felt safe and enjoyed the friendly interactions we had with the Hosts and hope they will continue to come back year after year! We have been camping at Nevada Beach for many years and this was the best yet!

The check-in host went above and beyond with a smile. We always have a great camp experience at Nevada Beach. Dog beach at south end is a great perk. Only lame part is when campers let their pitties run free to greet the leashed dogs in the campground. I’ve seen that more than once. What are they thinking?
Other than thoughtless people, the campground is awesome.

Lovely spot. Restrooms in campground were out of supplies some of the tine. Staff friendly and hared-working but short-handed. Would stay again.
