A pleasant surprise! Just a small little camp ground we used as we travelled out of California. The campground hostess was amazing. It was great to walk to the store across the street. Just a pleasant overnight stop for us.

Wonderful spot! We were in space 35 with a small tent trailer and had plenty of space, the only issue was in that space the table and fire pit is a bit of a walk from the parking spot, so it would be better for tent campers. Otherwise we were very happy! Hosts were friendly, bathrooms were clean, other campers were polite and we could walk across the street to the lake!

Judy and Ed, the Camp Hosts, keep that campground clean and safe. I travel alone and so appreciate that they are available at any time to help. They work hard, as a team, to keep the bathrooms spotless and rake each campsite when a camper departs so it will be clean before the next campers arrive. I just can't wait to go back in Spring.
I did have a bear climb up on my picnic table looking for food overnight, but was never in danger. Exciting, tho!
That campground is a wonderful home base to explore all that the North Shore of Lake Tahoe has to offer. I rode my ebike on the bike path from there all the way to Meeks Bay, had breakfast at the Tahoe House Bakery in Tahoe City and rode my bike the next day on the Truckee River Bike Trail to Squaw Valley. All in all, a very fun trip! Judy and Ed, I'll see you next Spring!!

Even though we were close to home we really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were terrific and the upkeep at the campground was top notch. We will surely go again.
