What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Although this campsite is backed up to a meadow, it is almost wedged right under site 103. Luckily, they didn't show and I felt like I had some privacy. I think 105 is the one I meant to reserve. Bathrooms were clean. Bees were becoming a problem during the day. Usual weekend crowd of noisy people and super bright flashlights until about 1am. I would do it again just to get out of the smog of the valley!

We were in tent space #4. The only flat spot for a tent would have flooded had there been rain. Fortunately the weather was dry. Nice fire ring and bathrooms.

Short drive from the General Grant Tree and Hume Lake. Have to drive a bit to get to Three Kings River/Boyden Cavern & General Sherman Tree/Moro Rock. Overall, a very good experience, most sites were spacious and clean and had everything you need.
