What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Keith was a very good host & covered everything we needed to know. In walking distance of restaurant & information centre which we were glad of as poured with rain overnight and this gave us chance to get dry, warm & fed. Pitches were good plenty of room

Beautiful campsites; right in between towering sequoias!

First of all, Kings Canyon is amazing and the location of this campground is hard to beat. Azalea is a beautiful spot, but the camp sites are widely varied. 39 is one of the nicer ones - it’s really big, with a view of an open interior area. The only downside is it appears to be one of the only spots that shares a parking pad with the neighbor site (38), which is not well marked and did cause some stress with my neighbors. Also not the best if you’re planning to sleep in your car like I was.

Spots are great for a tent, but we are in a van. Ground not level. Our neighbors left due to rain so we took their spot as it was a bit more level.
