What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Wir hatten Site 108, diese ist etwas abgelegen von anderen, direkt am Wanderweg zum Village & General Grant Tree, sehr ruhig und mitten in der Natur, es gab Toiletten mit Spülung und Trinkwasser

This was my first time in Kings Canyon National Park. I stayed in 68, and was excellent spot. Although this wasn't tent only, only smaller RVs and camper vans around, and very quiet. Very close tot he bathroom and wash basin, which were always kept very clean. Although the whole lot was on a gentle slope, there was enough spots for three 2-person tents, and trees for three hammocks. I loved the big open space behind our site. Spacious and very private. Many of our neighbors had kids, and they were exploring there within safe distance of parents' view. Very short beautiful walk to the Grant Tree and Sequoia grove and visitor center. I'll come back to this camp ground again.

We stayed in a 24 foot RV in site 50. The campground is huge! Our site was nice with a lot of rocky areas for the kids to explore. Not much shade in our site. We didn't need it, but it was quite a long walk to the restrooms for anyone staying in a tent. The visitor center and market weren't too far from the campground, but a bit of a hike from our loop. We were also able to hike to the General Grant tree from the campground.
Please support our National Parks!
