What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Easy location of actual campsite. Restrooms were clean and not far. Very happy with our choice. Will camp here again in the future.

Beautiful location, friendly camp host, I appreciated the accommodations. I stayed in site 60, and would highly recommend it because you don't have any neighbors on the side of you, you're super close to the water spicket, there's a recycling bin close by, the bathroom isn't too far away, and there are many trees to hammock from. You're also close to the General Grant tree, so you can go see it conveniently at the end of the day when there are less guests crowding it up. And you're super close to the visitor center, the market, and a restaurant if that's your thing. But it's not so close that it takes you out of the nature, a perfect balance.
