What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Location, Location. This is a very large and busy campground so you lose a bit of that remote camping feel. But, the location is great for simple walks to many of the local attractions.

Campground had just switched to winter service so it was fairly quiet. Heated washrooms and good dish/utility sinks! Well located for Grant Grove and the drive down to Cedar Grove.

There were a few wasps that showed up to dinner. A couple of traps out of water bottles, soap, string and meat kept their numbers down. Large firepit was a great option. Verizon coverage was nice.

Excellent site and clean bathrooms with running water and flush toilets. Close to a small supply store with groceries and anything else you may need.
