What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

In regards to snow tent camping here, I HIGHLY recommend talking to whoever is managing the site that day. Our group had a terrible experience with a ranger the first day who was arbitrarily determining how close tents needed to be next to fire pits (of which, there appears to be no actual rule).

Heated restrooms in the winter is like luxury. Lots of good sites, was surprised that they all filled up in winter.
