What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

I reserved site no.38. I have a small class B RV 20 feet. Unable to stay on site, it was a hill. This campground should be close for renovation. It is the worst campground of the National Park. For RV users do not camp there. It is a shame for National Parks.

Your rating of the trail to the water falls is under rated. Should be moderate

Great location for nearby hikes to Grant Grove and Sequoia Lake. Many of the campsites could use flatter spots for pitching tents on them.

Very nice place to be, under trees and not so near to the other campsites. Very good visitor center and the park rangers were very friendly. Some restrooms more would be perfect

Very peaceful place and some of the camp sites are really large. We stayed in site 36 which backs up to a bunch of woods. Easy walk to Grant Grove as well.
