What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Beautiful campground, lots of shade and a very nice short hike to General Grant tree. Unfortunately, our sites 9 and 15 were the only ones partially flooded.

Had a good time at Azalea Campground. It was clean and quiet. Only issue was that there was no washroom in our loop. It was a long way to go each time to brush teeth etc. It would be nice if each loop had one.

The campground itself is nice with a creek nearby and trails accessible from the campground. THIS IS A FAMILY CAMPGROUND. I saw reviews mentioning the amount of kids running through people’s campsites and they were accurate. To the point that I will not return unless it is the only option. Kids and large families showed no courtesy to others and were loud past 2 am. Ran right through other sites with no respect. We had site 75 which is somewhat downhill. This is not a flat site. Bathroom within a few yards so that was nice but also had to deal with people walking through our site to get to the restroom.
