What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Stunning setting. Well maintained and cleaned toilets. Cancellations posted on site also which is helpful. We were able to start multiple fabulous trails directly from the site.

Walking distance to the Visitor Center and Grants Grove and those are the two things we did. We stayed only one night. We had a short bed crew cab truck and a 26 foot trailer and fit okay, although we parked a little crooked to miss a boulder. It was almost overwhelming to see the giant sequoia's. Well worth the trip.

You need an outhouse back near the camp spots in the 59s.

It‘s a beautiful campsite with plenty of space for everyone. I really enjoyed being in the nature of Sequoia, God bless nature.
