What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Will stay in Azalea Campground again! We were right on the small meadow, where we saw deer. Within walking distance to the visitor center. Level site. Trees. Beautiful night sky!

Fine place in a wonderful national park. Five minutes after we sent up our tent, a female Mule Deer walked near by, and a American Marten came 10 m from me in the creek near by. Beautiful milky way above the Sequoias and Pines.

Was okay. The ground was very uneven. So we couldn’t get the RV on the right spot.

Always a nice stay at Azalea. Beautiful spot and right across the street from Grant Grove.

Lot 110: beautiful location with boulders and quiet stream passing nearby. Nearby bathroom and fresh water with sink. However, campground was at a moderate incline, the parking spot was 50-60 ft away from the camping area, and there was no bear-safe trash or recycling nearby.
