What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Literally the most quite and peaceful campground I have visited. No one was blasting bad music. Everyone was very respectful.
Two things to note:
1. They had a rough winter which rendered the proximate water faucet unusable. No one seemed in a rush to fix this. Water can still be found at the restrooms.
2. The restrooms are few and far between. Expect a 5 minute walk to get there.

We did not go. Left early. Too depressing to drive through the aftermath of the camp fire, and the road was closed to King's Canyon, so not much to really see and do up there.
Very sad.

Great campground. Stayed at two different sites in the campground, both were great. Nice size of sites. Would definitely stay again

Wonderful campground - easy access to some great hikes and close to the ranger station. Campsites are well maintained and bathrooms are clean.
