What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting, ideally located near Grant Grove and various hiking trails, including those to the General Sherman Tree. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms, fresh water, and friendly park staff, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing experience. While some sites may be uneven and restrooms are a bit distant for some, the overall atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and access to nature make it a memorable destination.

Ended up with site 102. Large site that accommodated myself and could have definitely accommodated more. Woke up both mornings to Mule bucks walking through my site. Beautiful skies at night! Only downside is that the sites are quite close to one another.

Basically a wonderful campsite. The location a dream. But especially because of this, it is incomprehensible that generators are still allowed on a campsite in a national park. Your noise spoils the stay completely and incomprehensible in the middle of nature. You can do without! Actually 5 stars, only two because of the generators

The campground was noisy by other guests. Many families playing music when they should have been considerate of quiet hours. Location is good however, close to Grant Valley amenities.

We had a spontaneous night at Azalea. Everything went out well. The campground is well located to reach the General Grant the other morning after a day in the Sequoia N.P.

Perfect campsite, the ground is leveled and it’s very isolated.
