What Guests Are Saying
Sunset Campground is praised for its beautiful sunset views, clean facilities, and convenient location near major attractions in Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Many visitors enjoyed the serene atmosphere, ample hiking opportunities, and friendly staff. However, some noted issues with noise from neighboring sites and varying site sizes, which could impact the camping experience. Overall, it's a lovely spot that many would return to despite a few drawbacks.

#70 campground: it was a really nice spot, very spacious, we had 2 tents and 2 cars, and there was even more room for more, but it is only for 6 people. Also, we had convenient facilities closely, such as bathroom and water. We had a great time there, however there is a only little thing that I might not have liked, it is right next to the highway, so we could hear cars passing even after 10:00 pm. Otherwise, facilities clean, and there is a trail that connects to other campground, and also gets to the General Tree, and other must visit spots.
Recommended :)

Great campground with lots of water spigots, clean bathrooms, and a dishwashing sink. Bear proofed dumpsters are conveniently located throughout and bear boxes are at every site. The general location is perfect, close to the market and gift shop, and the view of the sunset is astonishing. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view but a little tricky to find a good level spot for a tent. Campground name lives up, the sunsets were breathtaking!
