Gorgeous spot— right next to the lake. It was a group of 6 of us & there was plenty of room. Site 7 doesn’t have shade, though, and the Sun in late May was intense! 6:30am to sundown you have direct light. But the lake was so refreshing, the area so beautiful, it was all worth it. FYI: bathrooms very far from site 7, & this was def not a campground with private spaces :-)

I love this place! It’s the place where we first dry camped 7 years ago and we’ve been back 1-2 times every year since.

Our campground host was just wonderful. Kind and helpful. It's a beautiful spot and not at all crowded.

Very well kept & quiet campground. Excellent lakeside spots allowing easy access to water during seasons the water level is adequate. Close proximity to Truckee to enjoy shopping & dining and close to acres of mountain biking, hiking and off road 4x4 or motorbikes.
