Bathrooms maintained very good, rangers very respectful and patrolling. Very nice environment and the nature views and animals including deers very friendly and in their space. 2nd year camping and will continue to do so every year.

Very nice location. The only problem is no shower and the toilet is disgusting.

It was my first time camping here so this rating is based off what I personally didn't like at Oak Knoll. There was hardly ANY shade there, The bathrooms are really dirty, They do not have showers there, and the Lake - if you go out far enough it's probably nice. But if you have smaller kids and you have to be in the shallow part of the lake, be prepared because it's super muddy water.

Friendly staff. Got super hot because we booked during the heat wave so if you want to cool off just jump in the lake. Bring tons of water because gates lock after 10pm and open no later than 8am.

My wife and I stayed there for two nights. The area and views were fine and so was the site. But we had multiple things stolen from us while we walked down to the water. Luckily we had our wallets locked inside our car.

Campsite #14 at Oak Knoll Campground has been my favorite campsite for several years. This time though I noticed a strong stench in the campsite which was not present in the nearby campsites such as #16 (adjacent and downhill from it) and #15 (across the road from #16). People are so careless and rude and inconsiderate. Whatever it was, somebody left something very stinky in #14 for the next people (and the next and the next) to deal with.

People ought to be punished for doing this. Next time I am hoping to reserve #16 or maybe #15 or #12. A campsite nearby.

Good luck campers, and please take care of your campsite!

This is a great place to camp and play in the lake. Keep in mind there’s only a few water spickets and only two bathrooms from what I could see for 30 plus sites, so pack you’re water jugs and if you have a bucket with a toilet seat, bring it. Otherwise the dogs ran around and the kids had a blast. We had pop ups at the water, water toys and kayaks. Others had their boats, jet ski’s and there were tons of fish jumping. The best part…I didn’t hear a generator the entire time and just zoned out at the lake.
