What a horrible stay at this site. The entire city of Stockton showed up
Noise all night, theft from sites, strange dudes walking up to me in camp .. never again, even if it's free

Space 48 is one of the only sites I'd stay. Away from most of the idiots who flock here on weekends to do their drugs.

Too many strange people come into the campground after rangers leave after 10pm.
I've had stuff stolen from site twice.

The camp site is not very well regulated. We got to the campsite and someone actually had the tent setup at ours, the good ranger provided us the other site which got taken as well so basically this site is wild meaning if you cannot force someone from your site don’t go to this site. The rangers are good but the people that we came across were ignorant.

Even though the place is really nice I am not going back here!!! Due yo horrible experience with the other campers.

Horrible people yelling and blaring music till 2:30am and some people playing a saxophone up until that late and then again at 6am walking around the campsite! Absolutely the worst camping experience I ever had. Everyone was cussing every other word, we have small children. It was horrible. We left after the first night and I will be requesting a refund on the remaining days. No one ever patrolled cause they would have told them all to be quite. It was impossible to miss how loud these 4 different campsites were. So clearly no one was doing their job and checking after the 10pm quite hours were supposed to be in effect.

The view is great for swimming hiking and biking, but the campsites are too close to each other. You can hear every movement of the campers 3 campsites away from you. RVs parked close to tent camping, u can hear their generators on/off the whole night. It’s good for big group social camping but if you plan to disconnect and just relax, it’s not the best place to be.

Always a good time there! Our last visit was on a holiday weekend so the outhouse got a little of hand, hard for the care takers to keep up with. Bring your own supplies, just in case.

There is never anyone attending the campground, so the bathrooms are heavily soiled for the whole trip. The dumpsters were over flowing because they were never dumped. Not to mention when you select a campsite online, it never mentions the extreme 45 degree angle that it is on. This campground need SOMEONE to actually pay attention to it. The only time I ever saw someone was in the morning when they are collecting our money
