What Guests Are Saying
Oak Knoll Campground offers a lovely setting with many sites close to the water and stunning views, making it a popular choice for families and groups. While some campers express concerns about overcrowding and noise on weekends, most reviews highlight the friendly staff and clean facilities. Nice fresh water lake that is rain filled - so a lot warmer than snow-melt fed lakes in the area. Campgrounds near the water, too.

Nice campground near fresh water lake that's fed with rain water only - so a lot warmer than snow-melt fed lakes.

Park rangers are rude, campsites are dirty, the grass is way too tall around the campsites to have kids running around

The amenities are few, but the full Hogan Lake in Spring 2023 was so fun. I wish the campground spigots had threading to allow one to fill the RV fresh water tank at the campground because the vault bathrooms contained too many spiders for my crew to feel comfortable. All in all a great close getaway location.

The water was extremely low. We got in trouble for driving down to the water. We also got in trouble for not being gone by 2 when we were the only ones in the whole campground and we had no idea we were suppose to be out. We also got in trouble for parking in the parking next door when we were the only ones in the whole campground. Very strict rules!

Stumbled upon Oak Knoll when looking for a camp site with swimming available. We came during the middle of the week after 4th of July weekend. It was empty. Found a well shaded campsite to stay at. Excellent star watching, tons of wildlife visitors, had service for my cell phone, inexpensive. The outhouses were large and did not smell. BBQ and a fire pit Pets okay. No showers but lake was refreshing.
Thank you Oak Knoll. I would come back earlier in the year, preferably a warmer spring week.
