If you like crowds, packed shuttle buses, and camping right on top of your neighbor this is the place for you. On a positive note, a camping reservation got you access to the park and a dedicated parking spot at the camp site (which otherwise is impossible to find). I've been to many national parks and have never experienced so many people especially in the Yosemite village area. The "attractions" were ok but also always crowded and therefore not as enjoyable as they could be. The bathrooms were ok but despite running water were not as clean as vault toilets at most other parks. Overall I was pretty disappointed in the entire Yosemite experience.

Everything was good except the restroom had no hot water and no outlet. Best place to clime half dome

Bathrooms were clean but a broken toilet paper holder opened and crashed on the guest when paper was pulled. When I heard a little girl scream after this, I reported it to the cleaners. It was taped closed two days later. The latch on one of the three stalls had a broken clasp which was reported but never changed.
Upper Pines campground is well maintained and the other campers were respectful.
