I love Yosemite! During this tough time with all of the layoffs, employees were still friendly and hardworking. The park was beautiful as always and the campground restrooms were very clean. The employees and volunteers are doing an amazing job. Thank you!

Bathrooms were clean but a broken toilet paper holder opened and crashed on the guest when paper was pulled. When I heard a little girl scream after this, I reported it to the cleaners. It was taped closed two days later. The latch on one of the three stalls had a broken clasp which was reported but never changed.
Upper Pines campground is well maintained and the other campers were respectful.

Good for tent camping. A little close to neighboring sites, but expected. Very little shade. Bathrooms were near, but not overwhelmingly close. Absolutely no cell service for at&t or T-Mobile though.

There is a tradition of people yelling out the name "Elmer" at dusk/night. Super annoying and camp hosts don't care as it is a "tradition". Super lame. How about a tradition of gathering to sing evening songs around a campfire or something nice and not so loud and obnoxious. Won't stay here again.
