A great campground to tour the Marble valley. It was clean and all of the facilities advertised where in clean and operational condition. I stayed in site #17. It was a creek side site that offered plenty of shade. The neighboring campsites on both sides were at least 30 meters away. The outhouse, water spigot, and dumpster were only 50 meters away. The campground host was very informative of the local attractions. This campground offers a happy medium to be located between the towns of Marble and Redstone. This is our go to campground for any activities in the Marble Valley. On this particular trip, we were using this as our basecamp for hiking in the Snowmass Wilderness area.
If you feel the need for amenities, Slow Grovin BBQ is the local hit in Marble. I also was able to get some great Cinnamon rolls and coffee at the Inn at Raspberry Ridge, a local B & B. In the opposite direction, Redstone offers some great shops and a few eateries.
My only negative comment about site 17 is that from the vehicle parking spot, it is about 25 yards to carry your camping equipment down to the picnic and tent site along a narrow, rock stepped approach. Just be careful at night.

Had a nice pull-thru site along the river. The campgrounds hosts were great, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Don't miss the BBQ restaurant in Marble!

Site #12 was a great spot, right along the river, tall trees and multiple areas to set up. Included a clean bear locker and table. Easy parking spot but a little hill down from the parking space to the large camping area.

We added this stop somewhat last minute on our way to the Moraine Park Campground in RMNP. This ended up being one of our favorite sites. It is a beautiful little campground next to the crystal river. Very quiet except for some traffic in the morning after 7:00am or so. The stars and Milky Way were amazing, and rivaled our sky-viewing experience at Point Supreme Campground in Cedar Breaks National Monument, which is an International Dark-Sky Park. Restrooms were clean, too. Really enjoyed our stay here.

We love this campground. All the sites are nice, some have no shade so check before reserving. Well maintained and close enough to Marble to sneak a meal at Slo Groovin BBQ. Awesome for fishing or just relaxing.
