Stayed at campsite #23, which was an excellent spot right by the river! The campsite was a great location for exploring the Marble/Carbondale/Basalt area, and the campground hosts did a wonderful job making us feel welcome and keeping the campground clean!

Fantastic and relatively private campsites without road noise. A fine campground for a "base camp" experience to reach out into the "Marble District", the Redstones, and Kebler Pass. Clean and without flies and mosquitoes in late August.

Great campground. Sites along the river are fantastic. Hosts to a great job keeping everything clean and tidy. Close proximity to Redstone and Marble are great perks as well.

Beautiful camp site (site 36) easy to back into lots of sun in the morning Pit toilets were clean water spickot across from toilets camp site clean some what level. Nice and quiet. I would camp here again. The only issue is I received an email stating the water would be shut off on September 30 but it was shut off on the 29th.
Stayed in a 21 foot travel trailer with a full size pick up. It fit fine. Plan a head this area seems to fill up quick. I did make reservations

This was an interesting visit. It seems that the campground is managed by an external agency which may explain the large reservation fee. The camp host was not very friendly unfortunately, but then again it was the last day of the season before closing. I didn't think it was worth the $40 for one night in a tent to be honest.

Beautiful setting along the river, tall pines, Aspen, and Willows. Trash truck came early Friday morning and rang throughout the valley it was so loud. Semi trucks from the marble quarry rumbled down the pass too. We still loved being close to the river and in the trees so we'll be back next year.
