Great camp hosts, CG was clean and generally quiet. The lake tent area seems to attract younger, loud groups, I’d recommend camping away from that area if you value your peace and quiet. Sites down by the river are beautiful.

I have been coming here since I was 8 months old I am now 57 years old And this was the worst experience I've ever had at Chapman reservoir You added sites to the lake where you can't even drive up and park at the lake anymore you have to park at the dam and walk. One side of the lake is for tent camping the other side of the lake has That were added this year apparently where I can't even park my vehicle by the lake I have to walk a mile to get to the lake my wife has MS and there's one Handicapped parking spot that's not enforced that's always full with somebody that's not handicapped The Campos were horrendous I will not be coming back after all of these years I'm sad to say was my favorite place to camp until this year Very very upset

Beautiful location. The reservoir was wonderful for kayaking and paddleboarding. A deer and a fox came through our campsite and a bald eagle flew at eye level across the lake. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever experienced for a campground with vault toilets, and were cleaned every day. The campground was very noisy, though, with other campers blasting music. We were not expecting others to have so little regard for other campers and so little respect for the peacefulness and beauty of the area.

Great site, clean restrooms, nice host. We have a large tent (16’ canvas bell tent) and tent area was a little small, but we made it work.
