The campsite was great, but parking at the lake was difficult. The rules recently changed so there is no day use parking by the lake, which doesn’t work if you have small children.

Great facility and camp spot but couldn’t believe how busy the lake has got with day use people! There was very little room anywhere on the shore to set up the SUP.

We stayed in Loop H. All sites on this loop were great sites! Our site had plenty of shade and a nice picnic table and fire pit. Lots of wildflowers everywhere. If this campground wasn’t 5.5 hours from home, I would definitely come back regularly.

Love the area and the new campground hosts are terrific, despite the fact that they're Chiefs fans!
