Overall the campground was beautiful with very clean restrooms. Views of the Ruedi Reservoir and surrounding mountains were awesome, including fishing on the Frying Pan River. Even though there was no drinking water, driving to the nearby campground worked just fine. Will definitely return!

Had the place almost to myself. Nice location for fishing the lower Pan. Site # 5 needs to be leveled some.

Campground host was great! Firewood could be purchased from the host as well. Very clean restrooms. Most campsites were very private. We had # 16 which was a great site.

Campsites are extremely well maintained & have a large bear box & campfire ring with a grill. Each campsite is unique & set into the landscape well. Beautiful part of Colorado!

Little Mattie Campground is accessible via I-70, with the nearest exit at Glenwood Springs (Exit 116). From there, Highway 82 leads to Basalt, and Frying Pan Road provides access to the campground.
