What an amazing trip and a special place. We stay here every year for about a week and were in site 8 on this trip. We had a great time and were glad to see that Karen and Rob were still the hosts. They are absolutely great! They provided us with suggestions for hikes and activities around the area and they did an amazing job keeping the facilities clean (did I mention they have hand soap in the bathrooms!). We were impressed with their attention to detail and ability to address the daily duties and constant challenges (people's changing plans, difficult campers, wildlife awareness, etc.) with skill. We will definitely be back next year.

Osgood loop has electric and water connections at the site. This is very beneficial. The canyon setting is beautiful. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Convenient to towns of Redstone and Marble.

We love Redstone. The past two years, the camp hosts have been the same and we love them. The town of redstone is a 1 mi drive or you can walk it. You can fish on the Crystal River, go tour the town of Marble or just enjoy the scenery around you. The hummingbirds love it if you put food out for them!

Rob and Karen are outstanding hosts and run a well managed, super clean campground. They are friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The grounds and campsites are mowed and tidy. The 2 hot showers are a real bonus and they are spotless with regular attention during peak shower times. The bathrooms have flush toilets with running hot water and they are also clean, and regularly checked. We needed some help adjusting our campsite selection and Karen worked with the challenge and made a change that worked. We don’t usually get that kind of help and we were so appreciative.
The Redstone campground is in a prime location with lots to see and do. The town of Redstone is in walking distance and has a lot to offer. The Filoha Nature Preserve is walkable from the campground. (Not open before July 1.) Marble is an easy drive as is Carbondale (with a City Market), Snowmass and Basalt . Be careful with your tanks (grey and black) the dump stations aren’t close.

Highway access
Redstone is accessible via I-70 to Highway 82, which is approximately 12 miles from Glenwood Springs, followed by Highway 133 south for about 15 miles.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
