Campground Host gave my spot away since I "looked like I had left", even though I still had a night on my reservation. Even more frustrating is that it wasn't like there were many spots available that someone could have used. This is unacceptable, and the host tried to pin it on me for "not leaving a table cloth or other item to indicate I was still camping" even though I had been gone from only 8:30am that morning and returned at 4:30pm.
Campground has many nice sites
Bathrooms are in good shape for vault/compost toilets
There is currently no water, so, no drinking water and no showers.

Level, large sites in peaceful, quiet setting. Host kept showers very clean. Great getaway.

The place was sooooo clean!
If it wasn’t so hot and the crystal River had no water in it (hardly) it would’ve been perfect!

This is one of my favorite campsites. The camp hosts are always friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. The Crystal River is easily accessed with plenty of areas for kids to play in the water or just relax. Redstone is a short bicycle ride down a quiet road. Perfect for after dinner ice cream or some great pizza.

Take I-70 west of Denver to exit 116 (Highway 82 East Glenwood Springs/Aspen). Follow 82 E for about 12 miles, then turn right onto Highway 133 south. Drive about 15 miles, then turn left at north entrance to the town of Redstone, CO.
Campground is on left.
Redstone is accessible via I-70 to Highway 82, which is approximately 12 miles from Glenwood Springs, followed by Highway 133 south for about 15 miles.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
