This is a very quiet and peaceful campground. The hosts Libby and Gene were amazing and very helpful and nice. The bathrooms were spotless and always clean except on Monday and Tuesday their days off. I have be there before and was disappointed in the way Vista runs this campground. The manger at the campground was very brash and could be heard yelling at the hosts one morning, about how he was the boss and he would tell them when they could work. Very unsettiling to see people treated this way. Sorry to see what a bad job this management company is doing.

Such a beautiful surprise. Clean bathrooms and loved the shower. And the views were simply spectacular. We will be back!

The hot showers were wonderful! And the Toilets were very clean.

Beware of the changing definitions of what a camp unit is. The hosts will want to charge you extra even though the sign at the entrance to the campground clearly states that two vehicles is just fine.
The campground is clean, the showers refreshing and the proximity to the river is great fun. Just watch out for the extraneous fees that you should not have to pay.

Take I-70 west of Denver to exit 116 (Highway 82 East Glenwood Springs/Aspen). Follow 82 E for about 12 miles, then turn right onto Highway 133 south. Drive about 15 miles, then turn left at north entrance to the town of Redstone, CO.
Campground is on left.
Redstone is accessible via I-70 to Highway 82, which is approximately 12 miles from Glenwood Springs, followed by Highway 133 south for about 15 miles.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
