Beautiful and peaceful setting in a smaller campground, bare minimum amenities (vault toilets and no showers).
Easy drive (or walk) down the road to the village of Redstone, which has many quaint shops, galleries, and a pizza restaurant. The general store has a little of everything and a decent selection of beer and wine. A nice community park along the river to enjoy a beverage or walk your dog, too. There is a former depot describing the history of Redstone and the 'coke' ovens across the street, interesting!

Beautiful out of the way campground! Loved the towns of Redstone and Marble! Really felt like we escaped the crowds, but still close to great sites. Easy drive to maroon Bells. Carbondale farmer’s market on Wednesday was fantastic! Campground was beautiful and quiet, and loved how private each campsite was. Sunsets reflecting off red rock cliffs were beautiful! Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location. Was under the assumption that there would be sinks with running water to wash hands - this was not the case. There is one shower shared by several campsites, 2 pit toilets shared by several campsites, and water spigots that are also shared. River access is only a short walk, but it is not well marked, so be sure to walk around and find it. Bear-proof storage cabinets at each site were helpful.
