Edie and Felix are the best campground hosts ever, bathrooms are clean and they are so helpful. Wish I could say the say the same about the new management company. They did not supply campsite reservations until late the day opening day. No excuse for that, people did not know what sites were available and which ones were not. A very bad position to put the hosts in. This new management company seems to be playing defense instead of offense. Edie should be running this region and not the ones currently there ;-)

One of the nicest campgrounds I have ever been to. Very well maintained with campsites nicely spaced, many of which were right on the water. Bathrooms were spotless. The campground hosts (Edie and Felix) were very friendly and conscientious and were always checking to make sure you were having a good experience. I largely attribute the quality of the campground to their efforts. Unfortunately, 2021 was their last season. The ten miles of dirt road to get to the campground can be a little rough with washboards and small potholes, but manageable if you simply take your time. The road had been recently graded by the time we left, so was much better. You will love this campground!

Beautiful area. Deer came right through the campground and squirrels scurried about. Very relaxing and quiet. Other campers were very well behaved. Many sites with varying amounts of shade. Horseshoe game was a pleasant surprise. Pit toilets were very well maintained and camp host was very friendly and helpful. One note if you're not aware, the campgrounds are about 10 mi down an unpaved and sometimes bumpy road. Take it slow and no big deal.
