Nice clean, quite campground next to Rio Grande River. Wildlife we saw included deer and even a bull moose that wandered into the campground. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed it and want to go back. Note: mosquitos can be annoying sometime.

River Hill has been our favorite for the last few years. There are many reasons, including the area and activities, but the camp hosts (Edie and Felix) are top notch. They should be considered the gold standard for camp hosts. The sites are very well kept and the restrooms are the cleanest I have seen in the state. They are also accommodating and extremely knowledgeable of the area.
