This campground is the name incredible location next to two reservoirs and the Rio Grande. It had accessibility to hiking and OHVing. The camp hosts were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond and did a really good job keeping the campground safe and clean!

It finally happened, proof that pit toilets don't have to be gross and disgusting. Thirty Mile is a fantastic campground with lots of shade and the cleanest pit toilets we have ever found in our 40 years of camping. The camp hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Five stars all the way!!

I’ve camped half a dozen times this summer and Thirty Mile campground was by far, the best! Bathrooms always clean and camp hosts were always friendly and full of information. I’m planning to return next summer.

The campground is well cared for and the camp hosts were great. We hiked up Squaw Creek trails and Weminuche trail. Picked fresh raspberries for pancakes. Several deer wandered through campground. Quiet.

We always enjoy our time at Thirty mile CG. Out only complaint is the rough road to get there. Our camper takes a beating!
The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Hope to return next year.

Just a quiet, comfortable campground that is in the center of a lot of activities that you can do.

The campsites were quite large with plenty of vegetation in between for privacy. It may have been an off-time, but it did seem rather quiet and definitely not at capacity. Restrooms were very nearly immaculate - the nicest I think I've ever encountered in all of my years of camping! Ready access to the river and hiking trails from the campground was a huge bonus.

Great Site, they’ve cut down some of the trees between the picnic table and the grassy area. Plenty of room for a large tent on the grassy area.
