Great place to meet young and outdoorsy people! Rangers taker their job very seriously and look after everything. The trees have already started growing back after the fire and will start providing shades for many campsite within a couple of years or so, I think. Bring good rain gear to be prepared for the frequent summer afternoon rain showers and a warm sleeping bag! It gets very frosty towards the end of the night.

We had a great time at your park. Every Ranger was great. Super friendly and super helpful. The ranger who checked us in was great at giving us the details about camp. I can't recall her name, she was younger, dark hair, and a nose ring. Was friendly, professional, and gave us everything we needed for a great stay. The timed entry was nice. The trails were beautifully maintained. Bear Lake Area was spectacular. Go early, before 5am if you don't have a pass. Get in there as the sun comes up. Colorado River trail was great too. The trail to Alpine visitor center was a great and beautiful hike as well.

Timber Creek is an excellent choice for camping inside RMNP. If you need groceries, laundry, ice, etc. it's only a short drive into Grand Lake. There are plenty of trails and wildlife to see nearby.

The campground is beautiful and well-equipped. It was so nice to have a tent pad, and the trees are growing up and screen the campsites to give some privacy. The mountains in the background made it one of the most beautiful campsites we've ever seen. We were able to buy firewood and had a good campfire.

The location was great! Bathrooms were right across the way tucked in some trees. Our family really enjoyed camping in Timber Creek.

The campground was in a good location and kept clean. The trees between sites provided privacy even with the young tree growth, some areas more than others. I wish there were bear boxes at every camp site if they want us to keep stuff locked up.

Rangers are very focused on bear safety (for good reason), specifying that all food, scented items, and cooking equipment are stored in bear lockers. However, the major issue with this is that bear lockers are shared between four or more sites and are not of sufficient size for all sites to enclose their food, scented items, and cooking equipment. The consequences of this is multi-faceted:
- campers become frustrated by not being able to fit their items in the bear lockers.
- campers may need to hunt across the campground for space in a locker for their items.
- campers may not put all items in a locker, thus putting themselves, other campers, and the bears at risk.
The National Park Service needs to prioritize adding a bear locker to each site at Timber Creek like they have at other National Parks in the country. It is the responsibility of the NPS to provide adequate facilities for campers to comply with their bear safety requirements.

Way too much trafficin the park. Campsites are extremely small and close together sp there's no privacy and you can here everyone all night.
