Everyone up at Elk Creek was very friendly and helpful. Very professional compared to other lakes we have visited in Colorado. Thanks to the Boat inspection team the most.

Great location for exploring Gunnison. Super helpful staff at visitors center. Many nearby hikes were recommended and taken. Close to Black Canyon and town. Super clean bathrooms. Concrete pad and electric. We’ll maintained dump station.

Such a beautiful campsite! The stars here are AMAZING at night (best I've seen in my life), and the reservoir is gorgeous. It's pretty hot when the sun comes up, and definitely cool at night. I would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent post season stay for 3 nights. Attended a Dark Skies presentation with tellescope views of Saturn w/ moon Titan, Herculean star cluster, and photo telescope of Andromeda Galaxy. Good hiking in area. We don't fish so continued on to Black Canyon of the Gunnison N.P.

Great campground with very nice pull throughs and beautiful views. Dump was easily accessed and a source of water. The sites are nice and level with a concrete pad. The only downside was the shower facility being closed.
