Great proximity to the lake and a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the lake, especially if you're camping on the side nearest to it. Every other campground is closed due to Covid, so you have quite a bit of room to yourself for a trailer campground. Bathrooms and campgrounds are very well-kept.

Lake fork "campground" is actually an RV parking lot. It was clean and maintained. Not for tents or overlanders.

Nice view of the reservoir. Remember where your site is! The upper and lower "loops" are the same group of campsites. We hadn't printed a map and couldn't get onto the website, we went all around the outside twice, then looked for a second loop, then went back in and discovered that the sites are numbered all around the perimeter and then down the middle. Clean, level, water was available several sites away, dump station easy to use on exiting. We stayed two nights to visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison when we couldn't get a space there.

Great views and plenty of stuff to do (lookouts, trails, and water activities). I brought my kayak to morrow point reservoir and floated up and down the canyon.

Quiet, 50% of spaces being used during COVID and less than half of those booked. Water is available but not at each site. Remember where your site is on the map! Upper and Lower Loop are the same parking lot, just two rows, and the numbering is consecutive all the way around and then the numbers above 60 are down the middle. A little confusing looking for #83.
