Sites 17 & 18 were very close. Limited cell signal. Water is not nearby as the pictures would lead you to believe. Pads are very unlevel. Very quiet overall, camp hosts were kind.

One of our favorite campsites. Enough space between neighbors and clean bathrooms.

The campground itself was very nice and a great spot for the 4 families that met for a great weekend. The camp hosts were very nice and had great information about the area around the campground. The driveway to the site we originally made a reservation for was graded in a very steep V, which made it impossible for us to back our trailer into. It was also billed as handicap accessible, which was an absolute joke. The picnic table wouldn't qualify as handicap accessible, and it would be possible for anyone in a standard wheelchair, or issues with mobility to get out and walk around the campground.
Again, the area was beautiful and the campground in a great area with a lot of access to great outdoor activities. But there's some definitely some work that can be done to make this campground great!

Not our absolute favorite campground but not the worst either.

Cons:
- Bathrooms don’t have any cleaning logs, smelled bad, and had dead flies everywhere for days
- No bear lockers
- Quiet hours were not enforced
- Road to reservoir was right next to the site so you heard the traffic consistently

Pros:
- RIGHT next to 11 Mile Canyon which was absolutely incredible. Happy to spend the whole day there!
- Backed up to lots of forest areas to explore
- Nice fire pits and picnic tables
- two great hiking trails around

It was our first time camping in this area and our site provided all that we needed. The location was good allowing us to visit the
Florissant National Monument. I am so glad that got protection status. There seem to be a good number of trails in this area but our time limits did not allow for hiking.
After seeing the lay of the land I will opt for another site with more space for tents.
