Beautiful quite and scenic campground. One of our favorite campgrounds in the area yet. Awesome trails within the campground and creeks running through.

Jefferson Creek is the perfect setting for a quite camping time with your family. The campsites are well cared for and the hosts are superb at caring for the area and the campers. From the moment we arrived to when we left, we had a great experience which is why this is a favorite family camping spot. I used to come here as a kid, and now it means so much camping here with my own children and exploring with them in the same places I once did. I am afraid to say how wonderful it is so it does not become a hot spot :) --but we will return each year. Thank you for such a great time.

It's a great campground but you usually don't expect 8" of snow during your first camping trip of the season. It melted quickly and the rest of the trip was fine but it put a bit of a damper on things at first. Also, we happened to go shortly after the USFS road was graded, so once you got onto USFS land, the road was uncharacteristically smooth. The straight stretch between the pavement and the USFS roads is still a washboard nightmare. 20 MPH max unless you want to rattle your fillings loose. And from our experience, it's pretty rare that the USFS road is as smooth as we found it, so be aware. The CG itself is fine, but you need to be prepared for the roads in.

Arrived at night, no visible signs for campground, dispersed campers parked
everywhere. Had to leave and go to another campground down the road.

Campsite 17 is not a pull through site, but in order for our trailer door to be facing the right way, it should be. We enjoy hiking the West Jefferson Creek trail which goes right through this campground.

Warm days and cool nights, perfect for camping. Special shout out and kudos to our camp hosts Roger and Karen. They made us feel very welcomed and maintained the campground in an excellent manner.
