Beautiful, open campsites with lots of trees and free space backing to the campsite. The bathrooms were really clean, and the hosts did a nice job of keeping order without being too invasive. There were some bears running around the campground, and some irresponsible campers who left their coolers outside overnight. Please don't do this! It puts other campers' as well as the bears' lives at risk! The lake is beautiful, and the hike around it is a must do!

Walking to the lake, from the campground, was great exercise. There were raspberries growing on the side of the road that were delicious to eat. Though the water was cold, it was great to wade into the lake for a few minutes.

I camped 2 days at Jefferson Creek Campground. I always enjoy that the campsites are far enough apart and there are trees to provide separation and privacy. Fishing at Jefferson Lake is a mile and a quarter away with beauty and wildlife all around. Because of the fire grates at each campsite a campfire can be enjoyed even in fire ban times. Great place!

A great host and a very clean and beautiful place. we had a cow and 2, I would say 4 month year olds come visit us around 6am in the morning. the little ones were sniffing our tent maybe the first one they had ever seen. It was a great experience.

I have camped at Jefferson Creek for many seasons. I am always pleased with the way the camp managers keep the camp in great condition. I appreciate the camp fire grates and pits. When there is a fire ban, because of the fire mitigation prevention, you can still have a camp fire. What is camping without a fire!! I always enjoy camping here.

The washboard road to the sites were unacceptable. The sites were o.k. but no natural beauty, given the proximity to the lake or creek. The pit toilet and sites were nicely maintained. It's just not an attractive setting.

Great hiking. The W Jefferson trail was good and the dog had a great time as well. Going around the lake looked like a good trail but I didn't have time for it. Next time I think I will bring a wetsuit and my paddleboard for the lake and my bike for everywhere.
Bring bug spray for the flies but they aren't terrible. It helped though to have some.

Site 1 has deep holes & numerous rocks. There's an unsafe incline from the parking spot to the campsite making un/loading extremely dangerous. You have to drive outside the park just to get cell service which is hazardous for anyone who gets injured. I went to the restroom while dark & received a serious injury my family had to leave me alone to drive outside the park to obtain help.. the beauty & cleanliness wasn't worth this excruciating pain I'm enduring from a seriously dangerous spot!

I go once or twice a summer with my grandson. We enjoy fishing and hiking. Toilets always clean. Campers courteous.
