Lodgepole is peaceful with a lot of trees. No phone service in our group. The camp host did not come by, but we're ok with that. Firewood was $8/ bundle. The road is unpaved for quite a ways & will be rough. You have to pay $7 for an area pass. Good for your visit. Drive slow after the pay booth. We saw moose on the way just before the campground. Bear have been active too, but didn't encounter any this trip. See you next year Lodgepole!

Beautiful campground and lake area. Stayed in campsite # 10 and it was close to the bathrooms and right beside the trail head. Clean, shaded and roomy. I would definitely stay here again.

Campground hosts were absent much of the week and toilets were not cleaned and did not have paper for two days. Some sites had been “improved” over the last year but were rocky and others were in dire need of some rehab.
