Awesome campsite next to Jefferson Lake. Great fishing a walk from the campsite. We stayed at campsite 26 which was perfect for us as it was secluded and very large. However, it is on an incline with very little flat spots and a lot of rocks. I tripped a handful of times but the seclusion was worth it. So possibly not the best campsite for children or the elderly.

Really great spot, the camp sites are spread far apart and have a lot of room between them (except the ones in the center of the loop). Didn't see the camp host, but the evidence of their presence was in the incredibly clean restrooms and meticulously prepared camp site before our arrival. If you go during the week you just might have the entire place to yourself, like we did. I don't typically like going to the same place more than once, considering how big the world is and how many options are out there, but I won't be surprised if I find myself at this spot again in the future.

we always love coming up to this campground this time of year. The camphost was very friendly and congratulations on his new baby as he had to leave early, but the next guy that came in was just a nice. Always very clean. Just one thing that you might think about for next year - we ere in campsite #1 - there is a big bush that is at the end of the slot. There was a huge swarm of yellow jackets moving around in the bushes. They did not bother us, but if someone uses this campsite with kids - you could have a couple of serious stings.
