The camp hosts were wonderful. The camp areas were clean and organized and things were run in an orderly fashion. Fishing was very good as well. Definitely coming back in the future

The campground is in a wonderful location; it was lush and green due to rainy afternoons and runoff from Jefferson Lake. The nights were starry, cool and comfortable for sleeping.
Upon our arrival on a Monday, we drove past overflowing trash dumpsters in clear sight of "This is bear country." A trash truck emptied the dumpsters the next day. Luckily, we never saw any bears.
During our five-day stay, it was noisy from early morning to late at night because of a nearby camper who constantly operated a gas generator. It was running from the time first allowed by camp rules in the morning to late at night when it was to be turned off. Homemade sound boards placed around the generator were made such that the noise was directed away from the user towards other camp sites
Three vault toilets near our campsite were not cleaned or serviced with toilet paper for five days. We never saw the camp hosts circulate or patrol the campground except for the last day during our stay when they came around to remove ashes from fire pits.

Space 14 was up and away from the road. It was also much further from neighbors than other spots in the campground. The tent pad was a bit sloped, but the privacy made up for it!

We had a nice camp site and enjoyed the time in a beautiful area of the mountains. Firewood was plentiful, if you were willing to hike up the hill behind the camp site.

Pretty good campsite. The camp hosts were friendly and introduced themselves to us. Lots of families around. The site we stayed at had a ton of flies and ants - there were huge ant hills all around - so be careful for sure. Also there is an $8 entry fee for each car on top of the camp reservation.
